Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi just announced that the latest version of MIUI 220.127.116.11 for Redmi 4x will begin rolling out, after the initial 18.104.22.168 version, available for many devices, was released. This is a stable version, distributed over the air, so it will take a few days or even weeks until it will reach every user.
However, you can also download MIUI 8.2..9.0 for Redmi 4x and install it manually, since a download fiel is available below. Also, here you can also find our guide on how to do it, presenting the entire process, step by step.
Before starting the updating process, please take a few moments and consider the following aspects, in order to avoid any issues during the installation process or even damaging your phone:
- This firmware is just for the Xiaomi Redmi 4x. Don’t try it on other smartphones, since it won’t work properly.
- The update may erase the data on your phone, so our recommendation is to perform a complete backup of the handset, just for the safer side.
- Don’t forget to check the battery level and assure it’s somewhere around 50-60%, which will allow you to avoid an accidental shutdown, in the middle of the process.
- Please follow all the steps in our guide carefully, making sure you don’t skip anything.
