Download Huawei MediaPad M3 7.0 Nougat Firmware B302 – Europe

Huawei is not one of the top tablet manufacturers on the market, but their latest MediaPad M3 is definitely a very interesting device, especially now, when it can be updated to the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, after the firmware was made available for download. The 7.0 Nougat B302 Firmware for Huawei MediaPad M3 is based on EMUI 5.0 OS and it’s an official build, uploaded on the manufacturer’s server.

The update is expected to roll out in a phase-wise manner, but you can also install 7.0 Nougat on Huawei MediaPad M3 manually, by following the steps in the guide below. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully and it should be ready in no time!

Important Advice

Before starting the update, please consider the following recommendations, so you can avoid any potential issues:

  • The firmware is just for the BTV-DL09 variant of the Huawei MediaPad M3. Don’t try installing it on another variant or another device, since it won’t work.
  • The update may erase the data on your phone, so it’s advisable to take a backup of your phone initially, then proceed with the installation.
  • Your battery should be at least 50-60%, so you can avoid a potential in-between the process shutdown.
  • Once again, make sure you follow the instructions in the guide carefully.

    Hi!
I just have tried out your procedure: step 1 worked fine, my MediaPad now shows Android 7 and EMUI 5. Then I tried the second step, BUT when I enter the code *#*#2846579#*#* no hidden update menu will appear. Instead the input line disappears after entering the last letter (*).
I also find no other way to enter an upgrade.
After restart I get the message that my device has failed verification and may not work properly; I am guided to a revovery procedure.
    What can I do????
    Thanks for help

Now you are facing a problem in Part 2, at step 2 and 3.. Okey, now i have edited two steps now..kindly plz do it again.

Also which version of your tablet ?

      • Axel

I have solved the problem doing the following:
Reboot pressing up, down and power switches, thus getting the pad in a “forced” update state. After the automated update and a system restart everything worked fine, EXCEPT for the dial number (#*#*28….#*#*) which has NO FUNCTION any more.
My version of tablet (BTV-DL09) is C100B302.
Hope this may be helpful for others!

I had a longer chat today with peaple from Huawei support; they claim there is NO official EMUI 5/Nougat für MediaPad M3!

  • Frank Brinkmann

Thank you, that worked quite fine. One small scare when I got an error message after step 1, but whatever issue that was worked itself out by itself. Dialing the code in step 2 didn’t work so I did the volume up/down/power thing.
Everything works fine so far, the only minor issue is that I can’t change ringtones anymore.
    Any thoughts on that?

    • viraj

This must be a minor bug because no oter user has reported such problem. Try reseting your device, that might fix it.

  • LercyLicious

The update went fine. No problems at all, but Bluetooth doesn’t work anymore. I’ve updated it twice now, but still bluetooth doesn’t work.

    • Viraj Desai

      Does it throw any errors?

    • viraj

It might be a minor bug, try re-flashing the update or the full ROM.

  • Raymond

Can it be used for device from Asia?

    • viraj

If your device maches BTV-DL09 model number then you can.
