Download HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat Firmware – Europe

Good news, HTC 10 users from Europe! The latest Android 7.0 Nougat firmware for your handsets is now available for download! Initially, the manufacturer released the update earlier, but it was eventually stopped. However, you can now once again download and install HTC 10 Android Nougat firmware!

The update is currently rolling out, in a phase-wise manner, but you surely don’t want to wait until you receive the official notification, so you might as well update HTC 10 to Android Nougat manually, by simply following the instructions below!

Before starting, please check your phone for updates, by going to Settings > About > Software updates. If it’s not available yet, you can proceed with the guide!

Important Notes

Before starting the updating process, please consider the following aspects, in order to avoid an unpleasant situation:

  • This firmware is just for the European variant of the HTC 10. Don’t try installing it on another device, since it won’t work!
  • The process will completely erase the data on your phone, so our recommendation is to perform a full backup, for the safe side.
  • Make sure that your battery level is around 50-60% before starting, otherwise you risk dealing with an accidental shutdown in-between the process.
  • Please follow the steps below correctly and make sure you don’t skip any of them, in order to avoid bricking your phone.
