Install Android 7.0 Nougat B398 Update on Honor 8
Step 1: First, scroll up and download Android 7.0 Nougat and GApps package for Honor 8.
Step 2: To begin, power down your Honor 8. Once its switched off, press and hold Volume Down + Power switches at the same time to boot your smart-device into TWRP Recovery.
Step 3: Before flashing the update, we need to take a nandroid backup, to do that navigate to backup options in TWRP recovery and select System, Data, Boot and swipe to backup.
Step 4: Afterwards, we need to clean the residual files, for that in TWRP select “Wipe”. tick mark Dalvik, System, Data, and save and swipe to attest the wipe.
Step 5: Than to install the B398 Nougat firmware, navigate to Install > select the downloaded Nougat update for Honor 8, then swipe right to flash the update. (flash both the zip files.)
Step 6: Wait for the installation to be completed.
Step 7: And that will be all. Reboot your Honor 8 and appreciate the Android 7.0 Nougat update on your Honor 8.
