I have tried it twice and it has failed.

“Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package.” Reboot system now

Here is some info from the app, Droid Info:

    Model: BLN-L24 (BLN-L24)
    Manufacturer: HUAWEI
    Baseband Version: 21.220.00.00.031,21.220.00.00.031
RIL Version: android infineon balong-ril 1.0
    Build Number: BLN-L24C567B110

I downloaded the US version(BLN-L24) of both files above and followed your directions. I downloaded them to my pc, extracted them, then transferred ALL of the contents which were extracted from the UPDATE.ZIP to the phone using an USB cable. (This includes full_mainpkg.tag, version.mbn, update.app, etc)

After the first failure, I rebooted the phone and, using the file manager of the phone, deleted everything in dload folder except update.app. I then tried to update the phone again using the hidden menu and got the same error a 2nd time.

Do I have to completely format the SD card so that only the folder is dload and the only file inside it is update.app? Is there a Build Number other than B110 that I must update to first?

    I appreciate your help.

There’s gotta be a build number then B110 that you have to flash first. This is the only way it can fail.
