Download Google Apps For Xiaomi Mi 6 (Installation Guide)

Like most smartphones sold in China, the Xiaomi Mi 6 doesn’t come with the Google apps installed, so users can’t access services like Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Play and many others. However, you can install Google apps on Xiaomi Mi 6 manually, even if the handset is not rooted.

The process is very easy and it doesn’t take that much time at all. Also, it’s essential if you want to enjoy Google services, which come pre-installed on devices from other regions. Below you can find a guide on how to download and install Google apps on Mi 6, so make sure you follow all the steps correctly!

Pre-requirements

Before starting the updating process, make sure you consider the following aspects, in order to avoid any complications:

  • This method is just for the Xiaomi Mi 6. Don’t use it on other phones, since you can damage them.
  • The process won’t erase the data on your phone, but it’s strongly recommended to take a full backup of your data, just in case.
  • Make sure your phone’s battery is charged to around 50-60%, so you can avoid an eventual shutdown, in the middle of the process.
  • Once again, follow the steps in this guide carefully, making sure you don’t skip anything!
