Not only big brands launched new smartphones at CES last week, but also smaller companies, like Coolpad, for example! The Chinese manufacturer presented its latest budget smartphone, Conjr, a metallic handset, rocking a 5-inch display.
The panel is rocking an HD resolution, something usual for an budget model, and it’s covered with 2.5D curved glass, which complements the uni-body metal design, creating a very surprising an elegant look.
Under the hood, the Coolpad Conjr features a MediaTek MT6735 chip, with a quad-core configuration, clocked at 1.0 GHz and aided by 3 GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity counts just 16 GB, but the phone does have a microSD card slot, so you can expand the latter.
Moving on to the camera department, on the back of the phone we can find a 13 MP camera, with an LED flash, optical image stabilization and f/2.2 aperture, while on the front, it features an 8 MP selfie unit which is also teaming with an LED flash and has the same f/2.2 aperture.
But the spec sheet doesn’t end here, since the Coolpad Conjr comes with a fingerprint scanner, mounted just under the camera setup, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. As for the battery, it has a total capacity of 2500mAh, which should be enough for a 5.0″ phone.
It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, customized with the manufacturer’s Cool UI 8.0, and it will be available in Gold and Gray for less than $200. Or Rs. 13,630, if you prefer.
