The new Moto G5 is still on the waiting list, but, as expected, we know pretty much about it, including the colors it will be available in. Until now, the official color versions for Lenovo’s mid-ranger have been Lunar Grey and Fine Gold, but it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is also planning to offer the handset in a completely new color, known as Blue Sapphire.
This was revealed by a couple of leaked press renders that made the rounds online today and we must admit that, at a first glance, it looks pretty good!

However, it’s not the first time we’re seeing a Moto G5 with this finish, since it was previously spotted back in Barcelona, at the MWC. But now, it’s time to see it starting hitting the shelves.
It’s worth mentioning that only the back and sides of the phone are blue, while the front remains black. This comes in contrast with the Really Blue variant of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL, as both of them were pairing the blue of the back and side with a white front.
Unfortunately, no details about the availability date of this Blue Sapphire Moto G5 were released, same thing going for the pricing options. However, we doubt that it will cost more than the other two variants, same thing going for the specs. Basically, it’s just a regular G5, with a new finish, which will definitely help you stand out of the crowd a bit.
