AT&T has finally approved android marshmallow 6.0.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S6 active. Users will receive this update as software build UCU3CPE4 through a file which is around 1.4 GB in size. The update also includes wifi calling. Like other updates from AT&T this updates also needs WiFi to download & is available from the system update menu.
Probably the Galaxy S6 active was more popular last year then the Galaxy S7 active this year. The battery in Galaxy s6 is quiet small in compare to that Galaxy S6 active packs 3500mAh cell. So it’s a better option for AT&T customers than the standard phone and because of it they have waited longer for the update.
It is quite easy to understand why this update is large. This update includes Google Now on Tap, Doze mode, native fingerprint support, Android pay, adoptable microSD storage and many more. WiFi calling is the remarkable improvement for this update.
