Asus ZenFone AR Smartphone Launched in India For Price of INR 49,999

Since last few months, we all have been waiting for the Asus ZenFone AR, which was announced earlier this year and now finally the company has launched the device in India for Rs 49,999. In India, the phone is exclusively available on Flipkart.

Talking about the specifications, this ZenFone AR is the second phone that supports Google Tango AR and Daydream VR features. In simple words, this Google Tango support can let you do 3D Mapping or Scanning with ease right using your phone’s camera. Before this device, Google Tango support was launched in Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, which became highly popular for the same reason.

As far as other specifications are concerned, this ZenFone AR gets Snapdragon 821 Quad Core chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of internal memory. The 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display again makes it special in the market. However, the company should have preferred Corning Gorilla Glass 5 instead of Gorilla Glass 4. ZenFone AR runs on Android 7.0 OS topped with Zen UI 3.0, which company claims of giving superfluid experience.

This phone also features a powerful 23MP Sony IMX318 rear side camera to boost your camera experience. Apart from the primary camera sensor, there are two extra camera sensors, which are used for motion tracking and depth sensing. At front side, the phone is having an 8MP shooter to provide decent selfies. Additionally, the phone comes with Google’s Daydream support, front mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type C support, OTG Support, 3,300 mAh battery with fast charging support.
