Asus ZenFone 3 Series (Three,Ultra, Delux) Set to Launch In India On August 17

For those of you who were wandering when the ZenFone 3 release from Asus will take place in India, we have great news! Asus representatives have just begun to distribute media invites for the release event which is scheduled for the 17th of August.

The ZenFone 3 release event has an awesome name ‘Z3nvolution India’ and it will be attended by Asus Ceo Jerry Shin. The invitation doesn’t actually mention the ZenFone 3, but we believe it’s safe to assume based on the name that this is what it’s all about.

Asus ZenFone 3

In May, the ZenFone series was launched in Taipei at an event entitled ‘Zenvolution’. At the time, the series consisted of three devices: the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra.

Asus also released a ZenFone 3 Deluxe in July that features a Snapdragon 821 processor and two other smartphones in the series later that month. These last two devices are the ZenFone 3 Laser and the ZenFone 3 Max.

Upon its release in Taipei, the ZenFone 3 got a $249 price tag; the ZenFone 3 Deluxe was priced at $499, followed closely by ZenFone 3 Ultra at $479 and the Laser and Max models were priced at 18,000 rupees and 13,500 rupees respectively.

ZenFone 3 Specs

The ZenFone 3 sports a 5.5 inch full HD LCD screen, 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM complete with 32 GB or 64 GB of native storage space which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and a 3000mAh battery. It also has two cameras: a 16 MP rear one and an 8 MP front one. So these are the specs you should be expecting to see at the ZenFone 3 launch which will take place in India in 12 days from now.

Naturally, the Deluxe and the Ultra models will feature better processors and battery capacity when compared to the ZenFone 3. They will also sport better cameras and far more native storage space combined with extra storage space that can be added via microSD cards. However, the Laser and the Max versions will only be slightly different then the ZenFone 3.
