Asus Zenfone 3 Series Released In Malaysia – Big Specs At A Cheap Price

Asus launched the other day its new Zenfone 3 series of devices in Malaysia. Though it has been announced a couple of months ago, it was only now that the company decided to make it available for the public here. Today, the company held the Zenvolution event, where the specs and features of the phones were published again. However, perhaps the price was the element that most attracted attention.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe device has, of course, top specifications. It is the first smartphone that receives the upgraded processor Snapdragon 821. It also includes 6 GB RAM, 256 GB UFS 2.0 internal storage and you can have it (if you live in Malaysia) for 3,299 MYR, which is the equivalent of $820. It is indeed quite expensive, but the features it comes with make it worth it! There is also another version priced at MYR 2,599, but it runs on a classic Snapdragon 820 and it offers “only” 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM.

The same price is set for Zenfone 3 Ultra, which is a phablet that measures 6.8 inches. It has a 4 GB and 64 GB feature and it runs on a Snapdragon 652. On the other hand, Zenfone 3 Laser costs MYR 999 ($250), while the Zenfone 3 Max sports an amazing 4,100 mAh and it has the lowest price in the series, MYR 799 ($200).

You can also get a Vanilla Zenfone 3 from the respective series. ZE520KL measures 5.2 inches and it includes 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, for MYR 1,499 ($370). The larger version, ZE553KL, measures 5.5 inches and it costs MYR 200 for just the same specs.

On August 17, the company will release the devices in India, and we’re curious to see what other markets will follow. Stay tuned to ObeyGeek to catch the latest news and updates about the Zenfone 3! We’ll be following Z3NVOLUTION event so you can read everything about pricing and availability of Asus’ ZenFone 3 series.
