The iPhone 7 series launch is fast approaching and there are many rumors and speculations about its specs, the latest being one that states that the devices in this series will feature a pressure-sensitive home button.
In the leaked pictures that showcased the device, we could clearly see a flat home button and now we know that it is a pressure-sensitive one.
It’s speculated, also based on leaked images of the device, that there will be three possible models for the upcoming iPhone 7 series. The first variant should be a 4.7 inch one and the second and third one should be a 5.5 inch iPhone. One of the last two is supposedly the iPhone 7S Pro and the other one is the iPhone 7S Plus.
The leaked images of the three Apple devices also showed us that the 5.5 inch ones have different cameras, one of them has a dual-lens one and the other has a single lens one. However, since we can’t tell which one is the Pro and which one is the Plus, it’s hard to say which phone model has which type of camera.
Mark Gurman form Bloomberg said that the dual lens camera will have two camera sensors that are designed to capture color in two different ways and to then produce a merged photo. The end result will be sharper photos taken in low light and the zoomed photos will be of a higher quality. So if you enjoy taking sharper and zoomed photos that you should look out for the dual-lens camera-toting iPhone 7 model.
All in all, the iPhone 7 series design seem to be very much like the current ones, the few really noticeable differences being the lack of the 3.5 mm audio jack and that aforementioned introduction of a pressure-sensitive home button. Said home button will also have a Touch ID fingerprint reader and it will also provide haptic feedback.
The upcoming iPhones are also believed to be powered by a brand new Apple A10 processor and will most likely have 3GB or RAM plus three variants of native storage capacity: a 16 GB one, a 32 GB one and a 256 GB one.
