As we already discussed that Apple has announced three smartphones at the event on 12th September and one among those is, iPhone X. Now, the most special thing about this device is, its bezel-less design and camera, which is capable of capturing wide angle pictures. As per as company, the device will go on pre-order from October 27 and sale will start from November 3rd.
Coming to the design, the iPhone X has a full bezel-less design with 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina Edge-to-Edge display. Sadly, in order to make the design fully bezel-less, the company has dumped the iconic Home Button. Another sad thing is, this iPhone X doesn’t have the Touch ID Fingerprint sensor, which usually sits on Home Button. Instead of the fingerprint sensor, the iPhone X has Face ID, a face scanning technology.
As per as reports, the Face Id uses TrueDepth camera system that includes a front facing camera, infrared camera, a dot projector, a flood illuminator and some sensors to scan users face and authenticate their identity. At first, the Face ID seems to have some bugs, as on event also it didn’t work for the first time. However, we believe that Apple will surely work on this Face ID technology in order to make it seamless.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the iPhone X comes with A11 Bionic chip, same to what we get in iPhone 8 series, 3GB of RAM, 64/256GB of internal storage, a dual 12MP rear camera with OIS, 4K support, and 2X optical zoom and 7MP front facing shooter. Additionally, the device gets an IP67 certification, Non-removable battery with fast and wireless charging support.
Coming to the pricing, it has been said that the 64GB variant will get a price tag of $999 while the 256GB variant will get $1,149. As of now, the iPhone X will be available in two color variants, Silver and Space Gray.
