As the title suggests, the next big thing is going to happen on September 12, possibly at the Steve Jobs Theater in new HeadQuarter campus. As per as the report published in Wall Street Journal, Apple is going to announce iPhone 8 and some more products on September 12. There is no official confirmation about this event but it has been said that the company would soon send invites for the big event.
The report says that the company is aiming to use Steve Jobs Theater, build in new HQ campus, for the event, however, the HQ is not finished yet, so there might be some last-minute-change. As a backup plan, the company might consider Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, where several events were organized in past two years. If we look in past, Apple used the same date to launch iPhone 5 and now the company is willing to come up with a new fully redesigned device five years later.
Now, as per as our leaked reports, we believe that iPhone 8 would come with bezel-less or nearly-bezel-less OLED display with wireless charging and face recognition technology. Now, few reports also suggest that Apple might announce an advanced version of previous iPhones, iPhone 7S & iPhone 7S Plus, which would probably feature a new chipset, better camera & display as well as some battery improvements.
Coming to the specifications, the iPhone 8 is believed to feature Apple A11 quad core chipset with 3/4GB of RAM and 64/256/512 GB of internal storage, 12MP dual rear camera sensor with 4K video & optical image stabilization support and 7MP camera sensor at the front. If the reports are true, then we can expect new iPhone to become available on September 22nd and the pre-order would start from September 15th.
