Alcatel Idol 5 Pictures Spotted on FCC Website

After Alcatel announced its Idol 5S, most of us believed that the company would skip the model number Idol 5, but well, it now seems that the device is still in development mode. Well, we have received few image and spec leaks after the device, Alcatel Idol 5, appeared on FCC (Federal Communication Commission) website.

Looking the leaked images of the device, it is believed that the device would get an aluminum-finish. When compared with Idol 5S, we noticed that this device has some major changes, like the speakers would be on the bottom side, unlike Idol 5S, which has a front facing speaker and the LED flash at the back would be on the right side of camera, but in Idol 5S, it’s below the camera.

The leaked details from the FCC website also reveal that the device would get a MediaTek MT6753V chipset, which might come with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Now, another major thing which gets revealed by the leaks is the SoC used in this phone is similar to what we have seen in Alcatel A5 LED. In short, this device would be budget friendly.

Apart from these leaks, we expect that the Idol 5 should come with 5.0 inch full HD Display, Android Nougat out of the box, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type C support, huge battery (at least 3,000mAh). It would be great if the company gives a fast charging support to this Idol 5, sadly the feature is missing in Idol 5S. As of now, we have no more information about the device.
